About Us

Midigama Fruit Farm was established in 1996 under visionary leadership of Michel Vass Gunawardena who was recognized as an Ecological farming pioneer in small island, Sri Lanka.

Since beginning, the Agro-Ecology and Regenerative concepts were practically implemented at Midigama Fruit Farm by utilizing traditional three canopy (Kandyan concept) with sustainable mixed planting system which entails richness of biodiversity, soil health enhancement, soil conservation, ecological pest controlling, Eco farming, and leads to sustainable ecological agriculture.
